The tour representative will come to pick up from your chosen hotel or the airport. From here you will sit in a pre-paid taxi and leave for Agra. It takes roughly 3 to 4 hours to cover the distance of 234 kms. Taj Express Highway connects both the city and if the weather and traffic conditions are good, the journey will be very comfortable and you will reach Agra on time for the sun rise of the Taj.

Once you reach Agra the tour representative will come to meet you. He will take you to Taj Mahal where you can bask in the mesmerizing beauty of the monument. This wonderful piece of architecture monument is all about grandeur and love. Buy the ticket and enter the moment via the Eastern or Western Gate. Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. There is an entry fee. Pay the same at the ticket counter. An extra INR 200 is charged in case you wish to go inside the masouleum.

Once you are done with seeing Taj Mahal you must visit the Agra Fort which was the main residence of Mughal kings for a very long time. It was built by Mughal ruler Akbar way back in 1565. Agra Fort is built out of red sand stone. It houses a museum which holds several items of the ancient era.

Now, you must visit a well -known 5 star hotel in Agra for a nice lavish breakfast. Enjoy several delicacies and rest for a while. Agra is famous for "Petha" which is a popular Indian sweet dish with an amazing taste.

Visit Mehtab Bagh which is also known as Sunset Point. This garden complex is square in shape and from here you can see reflection of Taj Mahal. Proceed for some souvenir shopping to Kinari Bazar. It is located behind Jama Masjid. You can also shop for clothes, jewelry, shoes, marble inlay work souvenirs etc here. Other key shopping places in Agra are Subhash Bazar, Sadar Bazaar and Shah Market, etc.

Finally, leave back for Delhi in a prepaid taxi. On reaching Delhi the tour representative will either transfer you to your chosen hotel or to the airport to catch flight for your onward destination.
