The tour representative will be there to pick up from your selected hotel or the airport. From here you will be transferred in a tuk tuk to Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is a mausoleum which signifies undying love. The benefit of going in the early hours is that you can check out each and every nook and corner of the monument without any rush or too much crowd. Buy entry ticket at the Eastern or Western Gate. Taj Mahal is not open on Fridays. There is an entry fee of INR 100 for Taj Mahal. There is no entry fee for children below 15 years of age. An extra INR 200 is charged in case you wish to go inside the mausoleum.

Once you are done with Taj viewing you will return back to enjoy your breakfast at a good hotel/ restaurant in Agra. Most of the places have lavish breakfast buffets.

Once you have seen the Taj Mahal proceed to visit another spectacular monument in Agra- the Agra Fort. It was the prime residence of Mughal rulers till the capital was shifted to Delhi. Built by Mughal King Akbar Agra, it covers a very huge area. It is built completely out of red sandstone. There is a museum inside the fort which holds several items of the bygone era.

Agra is famous for its marble inlay work. This kind of work is done on flooring, table tops, walls etc. The work which is done on walls is called the Parchin Kari work. This work is very intricate and expensive. Buy marble inlay work souvenirs from some famous shops in Agra.

Take a short lunch break and visit Mehtab Bagh also known as the Sunset Point. This square shaped garden complex looks absolutely brilliant. Proceed for some shopping to the famous Kinari Bazar. This is located right behind Jama Masjid. Here also you can go in a tuk tuk. Other key shopping places which you can visit are Subhash Bazar, Sadar Bazaar and Shah Market, etc.

Finally, you will leave for the Agra Cantt Railway Station on time to catch a train for your onward destination.
